Jazz Club of Sarasota presents big band jazz with the Sarasota Jazz Project on Friday February 7 at the Unitarian Universalist Church on Fruitville Rd. One of the finest big bands in the Bay area, the Sarasota Jazz Project is dedicated to the preservation, promotion and performance of big band jazz music. The band is comprised of some of the best local jazz musicians, with resumes and careers performing with name bands and well known jazz musicians. Doors open 1:30 pm. Admission members $10, guests $20, students admitted FREE.
