Kickoff event for the Sarasota Jazz Festival , Jazz in the Park at the Civic Green on Tamiami Trail next to the Municipal Auditorium. Event begins at noon with three bands. Opening set features a local area high school band. Also performing is the Pete BarenBregge band and Synia Carroll and her Quartet. Limited number of tickets to be sold. Admission $15.
